Definition : Water leak detection system

Mechanism designed to detect water leaks in the immovable. Such a system combines software and hardware to alert the directors in the event of a loss. Small sensors are installed in the areas most prone to water leaks, that is to say near appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters, toilets and sinks. When a sensor comes into contact with a small quantity of water, it immediately transmits a signal to the master module which automatically shuts off the apartment's main water supply; its rapid action significantly reduces the extent of damages caused by water leakage.
