A wall designed to hold or support an embankment or hold in place the ground or part of a piece of land. A retaining wall can be made of steel, reinforced concrete, bricks, dry stones, ashlars, rubble and sometimes even wood or polymer. This type of wall is usually located in the common portions of a divided co-ownership.
