Definition : Day-to-day administration

Administrative acts which, from a legal point of view, have as their purpose the preservation of the immovable and the proper functioning of the co-ownership. In particular, the following are considered to be acts of day-to-day administration:

• The collection of common expenses (condo fees);
• Communication with the co-owners;
• Hiring a contractor to perform work of negligible value;
• Monitoring the work of a contractor on the common portions;
• Sending a notice to the co-owners, reporting on the object of a legal proceeding against the syndicate of co-owners.
